Employer Excellence Programmes

The Employer Excellence Programme has been designed to help Companies develop their employment practices in three stages;

  1. Stage 1 – that they meet all their legal requirements as employers (available separately as Employer compliance checks).
  2. Stage 2 – that their employment practices and policies maximise employee contribution to the Company and minimise the risk of any employee disputes or Employment Tribunal claims.
  3. Stage 3 – that they develop into Employers of Excellence and achieve maximum return from their investment in their staff.

How Does the Employer Excellence Programme Work?

The programme will begin with a visit from an experienced, professionally qualified people management expert who will discuss the Company's current practices.

The company's practices will be measured against Health and Safety requirements, employment legislation, strategic HR practices and recognised business improvement practices.

A report will be produced which will outline a development plan for your Company to achieve Employer Excellence. This will be divided into the three stages identified above. For each area where action is required you will receive the following information;

  • Full details of the area for improvement.
  • The legal implications (if any) of not carrying out the improvement.
  • The business implications of not carrying out the improvement.
  • The business benefits of implementing the improvement
  • Details of how to implement the improvement and what help PPM can give you with this.

The company's progress through the Employer Excellence Programme can be reviewed annually.

How Much Does the Employer Excellence Programme Cost?

The cost for the full health check and a detailed report as outlined above will be £1,200 plus VAT.

Can the programme be done in stages?

Whilst a full programme would be suitable for most employers, some Companies may be interested in certain parts of the programme at this stage separate arrangements can be made for these Companies.

In addition, we offer a Health and Safety Compliance Report and an Employment Compliance Check as separate products.
