Monique Ewart, HR consultant in the North East

Monique Ewart has nearly two decades of people management experience, predominantly with a major PLC based in the North East. She has extensive experience in all areas of the 'employment life cycle' and is a specialist in strategic HRM, having had many years experience building HR strategies that contribute to business success.

Monique has managed corporate recruitment and selection at a time of rapid growth, designed and delivered training interventions (including management development programmes), developed and implemented talent management and succession planning strategies, designed and delivered a number of HR systems from job evaluation to competence based performance management frameworks. She is also experienced in restructuring and redundancy, having played a significant role in the restructuring of Northern Rock which took place in 2008.

Monique has also had operational management experience and worked as a business partner/consultant for many years advising managers on all aspects of people management. She is therefore very aware of the challenges managers face when dealing with people.

Monique firmly believes that good people management leads directly to bottom line results. She is committed to working with organisations in the North East, to help them integrate people management with business strategy, so that businesses develop and prosper as a result.

Monique has an MA in Human Resource Management. She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
